I went to Sierra Acura this morning and had an interview with the president of the Sierra Group, Peter Hoffman.  The service director at Sierra Acura said Mr. Hoffman liked me.  I asked the service director if he was still talking to any other candidates and he said he was not.  He actually told me he wanted me from the first time I met with him.  I guess that’s cool.  I didn’t get a good opportunity to mention the recent development mentioned in yesterday’s entry.  Some people say it’s good that I didn’t mention it.  A part of me still wishes I did, especially if things go well with American Honda Motor Co., Inc.  I have yet to hear back from American Honda again.  We’ll see how things go and keep trusting God!!!

In the meantime, the start date the service director and I agreed upon was July 17, 2006.  It’ll be nice to get some time off!  I hope he will remember that I said I would like some time off without pay in August for Summer Retreat and DCLA 2006.  The time off to make it easier to work things out with Honda if God gets that ball rolling.  I also had over 14 days of vacation accumulated at my current job that I probably could’ve taken, but chose not to as a sacrifice to spend the month of June training newbies/n00bs.

I should start a new movement on the Internet – Jesus Christ FOR THE WIN!   Perhaps my next vehicle’s license plate should be “JC FTW”!  What do ya’ll think?  Btw, if someone can photoshop that for me, it’d be awesome to see what that might look like!
