The Original BBQ Chicken Pizza from the California Pizza Kitchen is simply AWESOME (well, it’d be better if it were free, but you can’t win ’em all!)!

I had a great time tonight meeting up at the California Pizza Kitchen in Pasadena (that place isn’t easy to find, folks!) with some old USC Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF) members.  Going counter-clockwise at our table was me, Khai Taing (Xanga: khai123), Steve Quon (Xanga: GR81stud), Jeannie Yip, Kellyn Wong, Kellyn’s boyfriend, Will, Jonathan Mak, and Karena Chan (Xanga: biuechick84).  It was a bummer that some people couldn’t make it.  You know who you are!

Congratulations to my “sis”, Kellyn (after all, 2 Wongs make a right, right?  She’s also left-handed too (well, only partially)!) who will be getting baptized this Sunday at Evergreen Baptist Church SGV at Rio Hondo College at 11 AM PDT!  PRAISE THE LORD!

Gauging interest for the following:

San Diego Padres vs. Anaheim Angels – Saturday, June17 @ 1:05 PM

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – Tuesday or Wednesday, July 24 or 25, 2006 @ 7:10 PM

Who wants to go?

Work update:

I notified my organization today that I will stay until the end of June 2006 to train a (hopefully) suitable replacement (or two).  I also am hoping to author a warranty training manual that can be utilized for future training as well.

My mom wants me to send my resume and try to apply to things I’m not even remotely interested in doing.  Please pray for God’s wisdom and discernment regarding that.  I honestly don’t want to have anything to do with that.  What am I going to do?  Fake my way through an interview?  That’s not how I “roll” if you get my drift.

I honestly believe this a great (if not the best) time in my life to really pursue getting into something I’m passionate about.

With the hopes of God’s will being done and Him being glorified in whatever I end up doing in the next chapter of my life, please pray He will show me what He wants me to do next that will be a form of abandoning it all, for the sake of His call.  I would find it hard to believe that this would be mutually exclusive from what I want to pursue in terms of things I’m passionate about because otherwise, why would He have created me to have the passions and interests that I do.  That’s just the way He wired me, right?

Psalm 115:1 (English Standard Version)
Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your name give glory, for the sake of Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness!

it’s encouraging to hear how the Lord is leading you… as with your job situation…that’s sort of how I feel, too. =/ Why would He create us to have the passions and interests we have, but we are to pursue something otherwise? Even though I wish I saw the roadmap ahead of me, I know He’s the wiser. Anyhow, Persevere, brother! (Prov. 16:9)
