Why God is “butter” (see previous post):

1) The praises we children have had in His church that is (obviously not only limited to) First Chinese Baptist Church, Walnut lately (refer to this week’s prayer requests)

2) I believe God has stirred in me in a way that has me fired up on a level I don’t believe I may have been at since my junior and senior years in high school, which was soon after I had re-committed my life to Him.  I’ve had more fervor for His word that I haven’t had in a while.  I give all the praise and glory not to me, but to Him!

I saw Elmer and Matt perform tonight in Walnut High School’s production of Once Upon A Mattress!  I had some great laughs!!!

I feel like I’m leaving stuff out, but the 2005 Malaysian Grand Prix (Formula One) is about to start LIVE on SPEED Channel!

Palm Sunday is upon us!  This is the song I am always reminded of every year the day rolls around.  I bought Steve Moriya’s CD on my 17th birthday in June 1999 when he and his group were at our church for a performance that Saturday night.  Some said he was like an “Asian Steven Curtis Chapman”.  I don’t know about that because I don’t think there are that may similarities in their styles.  Steven Curtis Chapman is Asian anyway because he has three adopted Chinese daughters!  I wonder what Steve Moriya is up to these days.

Unsung Hero

Words and Music by Steve Moriya

All my days I’ve been searching for

Meaning to this life

Every dream of mine unfold

I see people in the spotlight

And their wish it’d be

Maybe someday I’d be too

To be recognized by men

To be praised and cheered

Fame and fortune I would seek

But then I remember

And no one stood beside Him

Everyone they had abandoned their call

And the greatest deed in history

Went unnoticed by the masses therefore

My Unsung Hero

Now I sing praising Your deed

My Unsung Hero

You’re all the Hero I need

And I want to be an unsung hero for You

There was a Man in Galilee

A carpenter by trade

And in a manger He was born

He spoke against hypocrisy

He preached the Word of God

And He cared for all the children

He wasn’t recognized by men

He was mocked and scorned

And fame and fortuned He denied

Was finally crucified

And no one stood beside Him

Everyone they had abandoned their call

And the greatest deed in history

Went unnoticed by the masses therefore

My Unsung Hero

Now I sing praising Your deed

My Unsung Hero

You’re all the Hero I need

And I want to be an unsung hero for You
