Just took the quiz below.  The questions are pretty junk and the only answers available didn’t quite fit the bill.  I tried to choose the “closest match.”  25 works for me (currently 23-7/12)!

You Are 25 Years Old

25 Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view – and you look at the world with awe. 13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. 20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what’s to come… love, work, and new experiences. 30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You’ve had a taste of success and true love, but you want more! 40+: You are a mature adult. You’ve been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

I had a great talk talking to Jason over a late dinner at In-N-Out on the night/morning of January 21/22, 2005.  I’ll be honest and confess that I wondered what was up with this guy back when he was in junior high and high school.  I thank and praise God that I was wrong and that He convicted me (and probably others) of how wrong we were.  From what I’ve observed lately (as in the last few months), God’s clearly at work in this young man’s life and molding him into more and more of a God follower.  When you see him, encourage this brother!

My friend Amanda that I met from the summer of 2001 IM’ed me on Wednesday night out of the blue.  We were interns that summer with Youth For Christ (YFC).  She interned in her home area of Colorado and I was in the Sacramento area (Folsom to be exact).  I met her at Huntington College in Fort Wayne, Indiana during YFC intern training.  We were in the same small group and she’s been one of the very few people I’ve been able to keep in touch with since that summer.  She graduated from Westmont last May and is currently waiting to hear back from some medical schools.  She really wants to get into Colorado University’s medical program.

After reading Steve’s Xanga – rice4krxst, I think I need to put some Newsboys on for ya’ll!  “Shine” or “He Reigns”?   I can’t make up my mind so I’ll put up “He Reigns”!

Lyrics from http://heartrunes.hostrocket.com/songs/12.html
He Reigns
Newsboys

It’s the song of the redeemed
Rising from the African plain
It’s the song of the forgiven
Drowning out the Amazon rain
The song of Asian believers
Filled with God’s holy fire
It’s every tribe, every tongue, every nation
A love song born of a grateful choir

It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns
It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns

Let it rise above the four winds
Caught up in the heavenly sound
Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals
To the faithful gathered underground
Of all the songs sung from the dawn of creation
Some were meant to persist
Of all the bells rung from a thousand steeples
None rings truer than this

All God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns, He reigns
All God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns, He reigns

And all the powers of darkness
Tremble at what they’ve just heard
‘Cause all the powers of darkness
Can’t drown out a single word

When all God’s children sing out
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns, He reigns
All God’s children sing out
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He Reigns, He reigns

All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns (hallelujah)
He Reigns (He reigns), hallelujah
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns (hallelujah)
He Reigns (He reigns), hallelujah
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns (hallelujah)
He Reigns (hallelujah…)
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns (hallelujah)
He Reigns (hallelujah…)
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns (hallelujah)
He Reigns (hallelujah…)

All God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns
All God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah, He reigns
He reigns
