My mom found my beanie last night after I told her for the umpteenth time that I brought it home. She was trying to convince me otherwise the last few days! It was scrunched up on the side of the couch. I guess I put it next to my left leg when I got home from Jerry’s late Friday night/early Saturday morning. When I first got home, I ate some leftover pizza and watched the end (ending at 2 AM that is) of SPEED Channel’s replay of the Wales Rally of Great Britain won by Subaru World Rally Team’s Petter Solberg. He took the lead on the penultimate stage even though he thought he had a wheel bearing that was about to fail! It was his fourth out of five wins during the 2004 season en route to finishing second in the 2004 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) Driver’s Championship. In 2003, the Norwegian, also known as “Hollywood” Solberg for his flamboyant style, won the FIA WRC Driver’s Championship with four victories. It also marked the third year in a row he’s won the event. I must have smooshed my beanie while I was watching/falling asleep.
